PAWSE is a research-through-design project exploring how a personified coffee machine can support veterinarians in reflecting on caregiving load and self-compassion. Through iterative prototypes, from scripted chatbot to LLM-augmented agent to embodied artefact, the project investigated how everyday objects can act as conversational and reflective partners in high-pressure care environments.​​
