In short
Self-directed learning is a valuable skill in a rapidly evolving world, in which vision-driven learning is key to enhance intrinsic motivation for students. Yet, many students struggle to articulate an authentic vision. This study investigated how a metaphor-driven physicalization of Professional Identity and Vision (PI&V) influences Industrial Design students at the Eindhoven University of Technology in clarifying their goals.
